Info about our bed & breakfast

Guest access

The ground floor has 3 rooms with cosy corners. Breakfast is served in the big kitchen or garden room. You have acces to the river garden and terrace. We have a private jetty which can be used for swimming in the river. You can park your car outside the gate.

Host availability

I live in another part of the house, so I am near to assist you with your requests or give you information about the region. Some nights I arrange for a table d'Hôtes which you can join by reservation.

The surroundings

Ecuelles is located close to the beautifull Bresse region and the Jura mountains. Dijon and Besançon are 50 minutes by car and you're close to the beautiful medieval wine town of Beaune and the famous Burgundy wine estates. It's also a short 12 minutes drive to the party and wedding venue "Chateau de Varennes".

Transport

From Paris you can take the TGV. It takes 1 hour and 40 minutes to the Dijon train station. Lyon is two hours by car. Smaller train lines stop in Chalon sur Saone, Beaune and Seurre. 

Parking

Parking is free outside on the street. Motor cyclists can park behind a closed gate.

What else?

The bed & breakfast is perfect for people who love the country life, the river Saône, fishing, cycling, nature walks, Burgundy culture and good food and wine. Hiking trails are near and within one hour you're in the Jura mountains.
